Homesulate™ Foam Insulation
Almost any home can be insulated with Homesulate™ foam insulation. Installing Homesulate™ wall foam can be preformed from either the inside of the home or from the exterior depending on the customers requirements. Homes sided with shingle, clapboard, brick, and stucco can be insulated quickly and efficiently.
Homesulate™ foam insulation has the highest R value of any retrofit foam insulation today at 5.1 Rs per inch, a full 45% greater than fiberglass and 30% above blown in cellulose.
Depending on the age of your home and the condition of your existing insulation, Homesulate™ can save you up to 50% on the energy bills. Homesulate™ foam insulation is excellent for older homes where home insulation has deteriorated or there is little insulation to begin with.
Fireproof Insulation
Homesulate™ wall foam insulation not only combines energy efficiency with noise dampening, it also is installed as a fire retardant insulation, falling under a class A fire rating. Homesulate™ wall foam has a 1.5 hour flame resistivity, almost doubling the industry standard and adding critical, life saving time to escape a burning home or building.
As a fire retardant insulation, safety and energy efficiency combine to make an extremely valuable investment for your home. Adding Homesulate™ wall foam insulation to fireproof your exterior walls, especially on the walls where porches and breaker boxes are attached can provide a much needed barrier in case of lightening caused fires that can quickly consume a home or building.
Soundproofing Insulation
Homesulate™ wall foam is also an outstanding sound proofing insulation, and is excellent for soundproofing a home. It can easily be installed in the interior walls of your home to reduce airborne sound transmission (home theater rooms, children’s rooms). Homesulate™ has an STC rating of 53 and can block out up to 80% of unwanted outside noise making Homesulate™ extremely efficient in controlling outside noise pollution, loud pets and outside road noise.
The soundproofing installation process can be performed from either the inside of the home or from the exterior depending on the customers requirements. Homes sided with shingle, clapboard, brick, stucco, and even stone can be insulated quickly and efficiently.
